Servier undertakes to make its websites accessible in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to improve accessibility continuously across our digital platforms.

To this end, it is implementing the following strategy and actions:

  • Following the accessibility audit conducted in June 2025 by LICORN PUBLISHING, Servier is implementing an annual plan for 2025/2026.

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

The compliance audit conducted by LICORN PUBLISHING reveals that:

  • At least 75% of the criteria for WCAG 2.1 Level AA are met.
  • Average compliance of the online service is at least 75%.

Technical Information

An internal accessibility review was conducted in June 2025 using automated tools (such as Axe and Lighthouse), as well as manual testing with screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver) and keyboard navigation.

Although many accessibility features have been implemented, some areas of the site still need improvement.

This website is tested using screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver), modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari), and accessibility evaluation tools such as Axe, Lighthouse, and WAVE.

The site is built using accessible design principles and aims for compatibility with a wide range of assistive technologies.

           A full text alternative for all prerecorded synchronized media is provided.

           Visual presentation of text and images of text has a contrast ratio of at least 7:1.

    • 1.4.7 – Low or No Background Audio

           Audio content has no or very low background sounds.

    • 1.4.8 – Visual Presentation

           Text blocks have custom styling options (line spacing, width, etc.).

    • 1.4.9 – Images of Text (No Exception)

           Text is not presented in images unless essential.

    • 2.1.3 – Keyboard (No Exception)

           All functionality is operable via keyboard with no exceptions.

    • 3.1.3 – Unusual Words

           Definitions are provided for idioms, jargon, or unusual words.

    • 3.1.4 – Abbreviations

           Expansions are available for all abbreviations.

    • 3.1.5 – Reading Level

           Text content is written at a lower secondary education level or an alternative is provided.

    • 3.1.6 – Pronunciation

           Pronunciation is provided for words where meaning depends on it.

In application of the WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the multi-year plan has a maximum duration of three years and outlines the digital accessibility policy of the institution concerned. Compliance work and actions to improve digital accessibility are planned on an annual basis in the action plans.

Digital accessibility is a major concern linked to the development and provision of websites or applications by the Communication Department of Servier Group. This commitment to digital accessibility is reflected in the development of a multi-year digital accessibility plan combined with annual action plans aimed at ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and providing progressive enhancements to the relevant websites and applications.
